Enjoyed “A Complete Unknown” I’d say it’s the weakest best picture nominee I’ve seen so far but still very good, Chalamet is excellent and near enough in every scene, a worthy winner if he does get the Oscar #filmsky

Binged “Zero Day” on Netflix really enjoyed it, not going to win any awards for prestige story telling but fun and engaging nonetheless, definitely would recommend #tvsky

Watched “Better Man” yesterday, better than it has any right to be, really interesting take on the music biopic genre and the CGI is great 8/10! #filmsky

Had an evening to myself and decided to watch “Wicked”, very enjoyable & far better than it had any right to be, great performances, sets & choreography. Another Best Picture nominee down on my quest to see them all before the ceremony #oscars #filmsky

Watched “A Real Pain” yesterday really enjoyable & poignant movie that’s only 90 mins. Can see why Kieran Culkin is receiving all of the plaudits he’s mesmerising to watch, let’s be honest though he’s definitely the lead character even if I’m pleased he’ll win the Oscar later this year #filmsky

Finished “The Road” by Cormac McCarthy earlier this week, after a tough first 40 pages or so have to say I found it gripping and can see why it’s heralded as a modern classic. Book 4 of 2025 “Red Rising” by Pierce Brown, the first in a series of novels which look right up my street #booksky

My New Year’s resolution was to read more and it’s going pretty well so far. I’ve read One Day by David Nicholls and I’m 50% through Falling by T.J. Newman, not sure what to read next as I want to keep the momentum going any recommendations for novels I should read next? #booksky
