like a mythological curse, I also share an eternal struggle with a laurel hedge. I've found a long shaft lopper the best tool for the job, the limbs shake around too much for power devices. Your milage may vary

Was listening to Pink Section from the Deaf Club comp and one section of Jane Blank all the sudden had me singing along to We Need More Power by Geza X. Don't know which would have come first

I was rearranging the shelf and saw Steve Jones' book peaking out at me from the back row, maybe someone gave it to me, I just didn't even know I had it. Currently reading Thurston Moore's book and it's more enjoyable than I'd expected

just finishing up Ultra Violet's book about her days with Warhol, I would recommend. Sheds much light on all the superstars

13.13 was one I found in the used bin at Second Story Books when I worked there, pulled it out to listen and then always kept it behind the counter. Lock Your Door is a favorite as is Afraid of Your Company. But, yeah, I can understand Walter's take, too

just cuz it's memorable don't mean it's particularly good, makes me feel better that for no certain reason I've found a few different Rites of Spring songs running amok in my head lately - the world is my fuse

Often I've had to travel to the Cinemark at Eastport Plaza, frequently have been the only one in the auditorium. Seeing 'Conclave' there was peculiar, all the trailers before the film were for Christian movie events, clearly had not seen the main attraction

We both know there are backroom deals going on that echo the 20th century's scramble for africa, we also know none of this is being done with anyone in mind other than the extreme, obscenely wealthy in his orbit. There is no other sense to it other than power (Vance) and greed (Yrump)
February 28, 2025 at 8:46 PM
trying not to let the rage cloud my response, but, as with dissolving USAID et al, Yrump is once again using his gaslighting double-speak tactic to bulldoze all we knew before. I don't think it's overstating that this is Orwell's 1984 happening now, here
