Late winter light at the Windows Section. It’s a blessing to have this beautiful park close to home

I’ve hiked up Angels Landing seven times and it’s one of those special places that lives up to the hype. Four of those times were in snow and ice, and microspikes are helpful in those conditions. This was shot last November on a moody fall day, as light finally broke through in late afternoon.
