Side note:

It's funny how both of them have non-native speakers pretending to be native speakers. 10 Dance was so typical for a J-drama: bad English, with bonus apparently-bad Spanish. Another round to Heated Rivalry, because I hear Storrie did pretty darn well.

Heated Rivalry is IMO better, mostly because for 10 Dance, the source material is a bit of a mixed bag. Do I care? No! Give me all the dancing!

I remember it was such a good scene in the manga, and they really did it well here. I mean, the strain Suzuki was under and Sugiki's amusement were so well done!

I just got to "did you feel like a princess". That was amazing! 😍

Basically, not a giant man-baby, but rather a reliable adult. Which, IMO, is more accurate than women wanting their fantasy boyfriend to be a leader, necessarily. (YMMV, natch.)

Re: the leadership stuff: there was someone in the comments rephrasing it as "what we do want is someone who's managing their own life (and/or fantasy plot lines) well, who is also someone we can trust to take over for a bit if we need help or a break".
