There needs to be water efficiency targets at building scale. Reducing demand in new builds would relieve pressure on water and wastewater infrastructure. A new research report shows that there are significant water saving and energy benefits as well as cost savings.

Water Forum commissioned research shows that using water saving devices at home can save money by cutting water heating requirements. Reducing water usage lessens the cost to the State of providing water and wastewater services and can help protect the environment.

26% of our 211 bird species are on the Red List
48 species living in our marine waters are threatened with extinction
