I'm feeling v proud of myself. As it's my 50th volunteer milestone on 1st Jan, have been asked if I'd like to answer a few questions and be the member of the community focus at my local parkrun. I definitely said yes!

Found out new boss is also a parkrunner. We have made a bet, when I get my 100, he is going to buy me the milestone t-shirt, that's a bet I will win!

It's the 3rd anniversary of my first ever parkrun today, so proud of me! 91 events walked ' or moved a bit faster' and 48 volunteer events done too! Never thought I'd still be here, I went to that first one to 'give it a try' err yeah!

My life has changed so much in the last 3 years, returned to girlguiding and introduced to parkrun. So grateful to be part of both communities.

Volunteer at junior parkrun tomorrow, and back to my proper parkrun next Saturday after a few weeks off due to illness and other things going on. I'm 12 events off my 100 and 5 events off my 50 volunteer.

Today at parkrun, no headphones on. No music or couch to 5k guidance. I decided when to walk and when to jog. Came in at 14 seconds faster than last week. An improvement. I'm v happy.
