Absolutely. The carillon is ringing Xmas songs every half hour and, in addition to the interruption, I’m like it’s not even Thanksgiving yet! Bah humdrum seems fitting (cause it’s not humbuggery to respect the calendar).

Calling up to the room was so nerve-racking! If they were running behind you’d be interrupting the interview of the person before you, whom you might cross in the hallway as they exited.

One time a committee member laid back on the bed (which had another person perched on it) and I thought hr was just gonna take a nap. He sat up after a few minutes. It was odd! But being interviewed in the pit wasn’t much better. Hundreds of tables of interviews around, all the forced smiling…

I’m always reminding people of this fact. In many places schools were virtual for only 3 months. The next fall they were back in person (with masking).

I have curly hair and I’ve noticed that the level of curl is lessening. The grays are coarser and less curly. The frizz didn’t lessen, though.
