The winds have finally died down somewhat.
Overnight we had winds of around 60+ mph, and we were the lucky ones.
Further west, there were winds of 100mph+ - 125mph in the Scilly Isles, I heard.

Just like hearing the first Cuckoo, seeing the first Snowdrops, or the first returning Swallows, heralds the changing seasons... I've just seen the first Easter Eggs.

We've got Late Blight in our potatoes.
Not a fan of chemicals, but it's either spray the whole potato bed, or lose the lot.🙁
Ordered fungicide. Just hope it gets here in time

Ordered a Troika lamp base from a "100% trusted seller" on Ebay.
Paid a tad extra, as lamp was "PAT tested".
Yeah right. If this lamp passed a PAT test, then my Aunt Fanny is an astrophysicist.
Loose wires, missing screws, no cable grip on the lamp body.
Complete rewire needed. Hmmph
