I usually make dessert for them every year. Like elaborate ones I put a lot of thought into. This is the one thing I’m cocky about - I’m a great baker. Every year, they complain about SOMETHING and nitpick it apart. But hey since I wasn’t included, I don’t have to do anything!

Hmmm maybe I can get some kind of board to put it on. The room it’s going in has carpet. If he was just a normal cat instead of one who apparently likes water this would be so much easier.

Oh he’s like 8-9 pounds of a little monster 😂 he just loves to toss water around. This is the culprit 😂

That is kind of what I am looking at right now, it just can't have the spaces at the bottom of the bowls (the little gaps) cause he will shove his whole stupid arm under it and shoulder it over. He's a menace 😬 I'm looking at some ceramic ones but I dunno if they are heavy enough to stop the beast.

SO if anyone knows of a heavyish bowl that my little idiot cannot flip over, that would be most appreciated. We are going out of town in a month and need to figure out something for her.

Hopefully, better things are on our horizon sooner rather than later. At least I got cake out of it today though.

One day, things will turn around. But today it's become hard to grapple with and I didn't think I'd be struck by so many intense emotions about it today. I should be spending my birthday with our baby, but that wasn't how it worked out for us. At least a week from today is the surgery.
