Take a moment to breathe in the air of resistance and community.

And relish it.

It’s ours.
And it matters.

If you want to take a look the link is in Rachel Maddow’s post
Senator Cory Booker -- nearly 23 hrs into this -- is more coherent than your average elected official speaking (while seated) at an average legislative hearing.

Even if you haven't been watching all along, dip in for a moment -- he is making considerable sense:

Stand up, Democrats! This man is a leader. This is what leadership looks like. This is what representation looks like. Thank you senator Cory Booker!
Wow an elected Senate Democrat doing something that properly channels the rage we are all feeling!

It only took them five months to figure out this is what we want--instead of betraying us by rolling over and letting Trump do what he wants like Chuck Schumer did-- so lets encourage more of this!
Senator Booker: What kind of man is in the white house that makes fun of the disabled, who lies so much that the fact checkers lose count, that minimizes the pain and the suffering

Cory Booker has taken the Senate floor and plans to filibuster as long as he’s physically able to protest the complete disregard for the rule of law by Trump and Musk.

Just a general question did anybody have a good January February March this year? I’m an optimist but three fires in the space of the month plus several other personal things going on. I just wanna know if anybody’s had a beginning of this year that hasn’t just sucked.

The first week of our honeymoon-almost 35 years ago-was spent in Paris. Every morning we would wake up, order room service, and read for a couple of hours-after that we would wander Paris, go to a museum, have dinner in a café and read some more. It was one of the most divine weeks of my life…

SAVE YOUR LIBRARY! Your library is more than just books—it’s the heart of your community—a place of learning, discovery, and connection for all ages. But now, it’s at risk. A recent executive order issued by President Trump takes away vital funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

A reporter asks Trudeau about Foreign Affairs Minister Melanie Joly’s characterization of the current U.S. situation which she called a "psychodrama."

"How would you characterize it?"

Trudeau, speaking for a weary nation, “Thursday."

Just realized that all the textbooks need to be re-written and reprinted because of the renaming of the Gulf of Mexico. Wonder what that’s gonna cost? The majority of textbooks used to be printed in Texas is that still true?

Yesterday I added calling the state attorney generals office to ask them to remove themselves from the 504 lawsuit trying to repeal accessibility for the disabled community.

Today’s calls to senators were: fund the CFPB, and Musks companies as the focus 24 investigations by depts he’s gutted.

And she liked mine !
