You would think it wouldn't be all that noticeable because it's literally like 0.3 second difference or something. BUT NO, IT IS haha I thought maybe I was just rusty at non parry based Soulslikes, but I'm back to dodging everything just fine in ER.

I've read Elden Ring's dodge starts slightly later vs. DS3's dodge. So I'm used to waiting much longer in the animation to hit the button. So when I play DS3 I'm getting SMACKED because you need to dodge ever so slightly early. I guess I don't notice it in 1+2 because I use a shield more in those.

Also one thing that really kills me is Elden Ring made me really bad at Dark Souls 3 when I replayed it recently. And it's strange because I don't have the same issue in DS1+DS2. It's because apparently there's like, a fraction of a second difference in when the iframes activate in the dodge.

You know I had to kill the horse man immediately as is tradition. He farmed me for a little bit but then my mind's eye opened and all my Nightreign experience fighting these guys every 2 seconds kicked in.

I mean obviously it does, I got a little bit of stuttering for a minute since I'd also updated my GPU drivers so we gotta go through the whole rebuild my shader cache song and dance.

I reaaaally wanted it! I get that 1st person was amazing for the immersion, but I always do katanas or mantis blades which is a little weird in 1st person. There's a mod for it but it's obviously pretty jank.

Also let it be known I cried during the last quest because I was sad it was over haha

If I had to compare Cyberpunk and The Witcher as I played Cyberpunk first, I preferred The Witcher. It's more my style of game, setting and well, 3rd person melee combat. But I still love Cyberpunk too. Definitely looking forward to the 4th game! Hoping it fixes my minor gripes with the combat.

But that was quickly resolved with turning off full screen enhancements for games. I haven't noticed anything else offhand. I'd dragged my feet with installing 24H2 due to it launching with some weird bugs that broke a few games.

I mean come on, you can be besties with your favorite good boys while fighting Fatalis, I'm not sure what else you would need in life. If you haven't liked the last few Pokemon games, maybe try it out! Also 3 is coming out next year!
