My walk around east 12th street continues on this nice morning.
The top half of the photo is the side of a one story building painted yellow and covered with large format graffiti with words like “orgies” “CLUBR” and “BACON”. On each side of the building are utility poles and power lines. A large tree is also at left of building. The bottom half of the photo is the entire top scene reflecting in a large water puddle. Starting out a morning walk on East 12th Street this wet and warm morning.

Cool blustery overcast day for my Sunday morning walk around Austin, Texas. A bit of puddles and leaves scattered about. Less people than normal out. A good time to listen to music and be happy for warm clothing and coffee houses.

Beautiful autumn weather for my Sunday morning walk around Austin, Texas. Today I present some of what the streets had on offer.
Part of a large colorful mural with a wheat paste of face on an inset fire door. A large blue dumpster on a cracked asphalt lot. There is a large wheat paste of a head and hair of a drag queen on the entire right side of the dumpster. The head has yellow hair, blue eyeliner and dark red lips. White washed plywood with a black marker drawing of three strong lines that show mid body legs and butt in semi profile. There is a large speech bubble emanating from the butt that reads “hi.” A closeup of a black top road with a single serving condiment package on the right of frame. The package is somewhat wrinkled on its right side and on the left it has opened with a large semi wet spot coming out of its left side. The wet spot is dark and blends in to the blacktop.

Coolest start to the Sunday morning walk this fall. I forgot to get up a bit earlier due to the time change and missed the full darkness. There is the faintest bit of fog.
Standing at a crosswalk with the sun at my back. My shadow spans the white rectangles of the crosswalk at bottom half of frame. At top half of frame is part of the downtown skyline reflecting morning sunlight through a bit of fog. The bottom half of the legs of blue jeans that have been cut off rest on the pavement of the street as if the person was walking and the cutoffs just fell off. A strange polygonal shape of light gray paint in the middle of a gray painted wall. Government’s attempt to 1984 real art. A weathered wheat pasted up door. A closeup near the locked up center with a padlock showing on bottom right. A painting of a head on the right side. The head is all red with a bunch of blue overlayed on the left of the head.

Cool clean and wet start to my Sunday morning walk around Austin, Texas. I love the early morning when it is quiet and businesses are preparing to open and great the groggy masses.

This is an old image I created a few years ago. I have been playing with AI to describe images. The version I have been using is fairly good at 'seeing' the image and getting most details. But the stories it writes are not very good. Some of the elements it comes up with make me laugh.

Tonight was only a 20 minute wind down before bedtime. This is made up of 4 of my images from around Austin, TX all taken with the same camera over the last couple weeks.

Beautiful weather to start my Sunday morning walk around Austin, Texas today. The city was a bit quiet but it is starting to pick up as the ACL crowd rises from the party stupor.

I like to make panoramic photos. Many times I do not have my tripod & wing it hand held. Photoshop has gotten impressively adept over the years at stitching them together. But every once in a while Photoshop goes full Picasso on it. I think I love this result better than the real 6th St.

Very warm humid start to my Sunday morning walk around Austin, Texas today. Stopping for a coffee at Revolución.
Upper half of frame is the downtown Austin skyline in the background. The lower left two thirds is a building with a fading mural of Historic AUSTIN Texas. In various fonts and boxes in blue, reds, and yellows. Most of the background is old buildings mostly of brick. The the bottom quarter of frame is street pavement. Connecting the tow parts is a concrete barrier with large swaths of color at various angles. These are the new concrete barriers on historic dirty 6th. Background is a large wall with a terracotta pattern that sort of looks like bricks that have several round holes in them. There are two large globes of light hanging from the top of frame. At the bottom of frame is a bar with various coffee house paraphernalia, including three bright yellow espresso heads. A barista with medium beard is concentrating on intricately pouring milk from a pitcher into a large yellow cup. A round white marble table top with a large coffee cup and saucer with an intricate set of hearts in latte art on top. My black daily camera with black strap is on the table in the back.

A good start to my Sunday morning walk around Austin, Texas. It is starting to get very sunny and hot. I kept to the East side looking for new art and interesting finds in neighborhoods.
