Having a snake in the house wasn’t particular alarming.

It was how my toddler son, who I’d just put to bed in the same room, nonchalantly called, “Mom, theres a snake in the room!”

*note - we lived with my folks in So Cal at the time, where we also had rattlers…

I once had a mouse problem.

Then they magically disappeared.

Shortly after I realized I hadn’t seen one in a while, I found a mid-sized gopher snake lounging in my bedroom.

Potential solution?

I never had the rancor, but I did have the Ewok village and Jabba. That platform opens up and lets you put some poor unfortunate inside. It was delightful.

Meanwhile the Admin. is working on an event at the White House itself where grown men and women will pummel each other into a bloody, concussed mess of broken limbs in front of a drunken, cheering crowd.

But sure, let’s worry about folks dancing around in sparkly dresses, lip synching to Cher.

But planes will finally have a dress code again, so it balances out, right?

It just means I’ll be sitting there for a while. Hope my kidnappers have a good mattress for me. If I’m going to be there for years, it’s probably best for all concerned if I’m not cranky from sleeping on a bad mattress. No sense in all of us being victims of my foul mood.

My grandma swore for decades that she woke up in the middle of the night, and stepped out into the hallway to see a lumberjack, glowing blue, helping her toddler son down the rickety stairs to the bathroom in their place in Chicago.

No other fanciful tales, just the same lumberjack story.

Wait, are they scrounging off of our welfare, or are they buying all of our houses?

No, thats raucous. Caucus was the Massachusetts Dem politician who ran against Bush in the 1988 presidential election

Sending demons into pigs and watching them drown? Fine.

Telling Abraham to murder his son, only to send an angel when he’s seconds away to say “just testing you! Lolz!” Sure.

Saul calling a witch to summon the spirit of a dead prophet for battle advice? Why not?

Mind reading? DEVIL WORSHIP!!

$4,200/yr = $80/week. For an entire household.

And he thinks these people can afford crack?

So don’t let the GOP’s lies about who is running this clown show continue.

Make sure everyone knows what is at stake, and who is actually fighting for the 99%.

And stand behind the Dems who are brave enough to fight with what little leverage they have. Then we primary the rest.

So, yes, the Dems could vote to stop the shutdown, and sacrifice millions of Americans on the altar of GOP greed.

But the GOP could ALSO stop the shutdown by amending the appropriations bill to restore programs and benefits everyday Americans depend on for their very existence.

Also at risk are your healthcare subsidies, which are set to expire this year. The GOP says “we’ll figure that out later”. The Dems are demanding that those be included NOW. If they give in and vote to approve, your premiums may double. Can you afford that? I sure can’t. www.pbs.org/newshour/pol...

People like Sen. Fetterman are trying to convince Dems to approve the administration’s appropriations bill to allow SNAP and other programs to resume. But that bill contains PERMANENT cuts to Medicaid and social security. But apparently that’s a price he’s willing to let you all pay.

Someone please ask Mr. Tiffany why it’s a good thing to make Wisconsinites pay an additional tax…sorry, “tariff”… on beer and chocolates?

Because I’m struggling to figure out how this is making any of our lives better.

Might be rabies. Or the plague.

But at least it’s not lupus.
