Same! I went through four different image editors before I managed to find one that would do it (krita), I'm sure it's a button somewhere on GIMP but I couldn't find it.

I spent far to long finding an old tote bag to get the heads and then even longer thresholding and isolating them.

It's weird that pico pinout looks really good on the same display given it has the same background. Perhaps putting the text in 'bubbles' and keeping the true black background would be enough make it feel less busy.
