Well, I actually have one in the works myself! It's under a working title called The New Frontier! It's a alt Earth soft spec evo project! The process is a bit slow, and I have to work out some parts, but I hope to develop it more in the future. And I have a intro doc in development coming soon.
A terrestrial bat relative called the Bape (maybe I should change it to avoid being associated with that damn meme). This is one of others I have in mind A deer with glowing antlers. It's based on a post Houdari made talking about deer being able to see into the ultraviolet range (which is weird cause they also have pretty poor color vision as if they see a tiger, for example, it'll only see green, not orange). I have thoughts of revamping the it's design, not to mention, tweak the antlers a bit, to make them bigger as they look too small here, as well having the blue fluorescence be shown throughout the the design to make it pop (and avoid making it generic) Spec virus! It's supposed to be one of the viruses native to the planet (it's a alt Earth which I give it the name Cerudescent, which I'll explain soon). It's adapted to preying on the bigger viruses, that fill in the role of microbes. The diagram shows it's features, the head has sharp edges the allow it pierce the bigger virus to insert its own DNA into it to infect it, allowing it to spread its genetic material to infect others. It has insect like limbs to latch onto its chosen target as well as to move around in it's environment. And it has a layer of proteins covering it protecting from the outside surroundings and allowing it to survive for longer without a host than a typical virus would. They execrate these proteins themselves, but newly developed viruses would taking in the remains and proteins of their target to give them more protection and to avoid being thwarted off. If you couldn't tell, it's design resembles a bacteriophage on steroids (the first design for this is literally that, btw). One of the older maps I have in mind for the planet. The planet is basically Earth, but different. It goes under the working name Cerudescent, it's a combination of the 2 words Cerulean and Viridescent, referring to blue (water/oceans), and green (land). Yeah, not much else atm, but provide more details when I introduce the biomes and expand more on the species of the project.
