It's a pretty wild time to be making music. Oversaturation, Ai slop, it's pretty gross out there. I can only hope that my little drop into the ocean finds it's way to appreciative ears.

- obsessing about the mix, about the sound of a kick drum or a high hat's tone -- it's worth it though. When I get to hit play and it feels so good -- I feel glad that I made something that I think is beautiful.

Winter Gala is an album I am so proud of. I was marveling at it while I gave it my first seasonal spin this year, it has so many twists and turns and such a vibrant creative flow. Most folks don't know or understand the kind of intense effort that goes into music making. It's A LOT -
