I've been listening to @suffsmusical.bsky.social recording and burst into tears on so many songs. Over 100 years later and the themes and issues they were fighting then are the same themes and issues were fighting now. I'm PMSing and incredibly emotional right now. But still.

Today, I made a parenting error and didn't trust the knowledge my teen has of self. And when I realized the error in my ways, despite my good intentions and parenting protection, I apologized. Your kids deserve apologies too.
