I agree with you, it seems that he is inadvertently describing autism but has ruled out autism on the basis that otroverts are empathetic, social, etc and apparently he thinks we're not.

Heard that yesterday, and yep, it's like HSP all over again. "Dr. Kaminski realized that contrary to neurodivergent individuals or those suffering from mental illness, otroverts are unfailingly social and empathic." Complete failure to understand actual autistic people.

I just learned of this book today and agree. This is from The Otherness Institute website "As opposed to relational disorders such as Asperger's syndrome or personality disorders, otroverts are empathic and friendly, with no problem creating loving relationships." Understanding of autism = zero
