Just like there is a scope for the Americans to split Russia from China, you can do the same with China. China and Russia are bound to get into some conflict in this century. Their alliance is not going to be very long lasting.

China had a drought last year. They are big on agriculture and if the climate trends prevail, they are going to face water crisis many more times this century. Russia has some of the greatest fresh water reserves in the world and their border with china is where they are most vulnerable.

No one is driving the wedge further than the Americans themselves. The primary competition is between US and China. If the Americans have forsaken the alliance, there is no reason for animosity between Europe and China. Engaging with them on fresh terms may be a good idea.

The Chinese and the indians did the exact same thing in Trumps first term. They targeted specific products originating from districts which voted massively in favor of Trump.

Nothing really. Some version of UBI seems like the only plausible solution at the moment.

It's not a very good news. The same processes would not generate mass employment in manufacturing back home and the infamous sweat shops notorious for their bad conditions lifted 100's of millions out of extreme poverty in the last two decades. Global south will be a victim of mass automation.
