There are no effective instruments to aggregate that knowledge into collective action. Personal awareness does not empower agency; it only sharpens the sense of constraint. When cognition has no lever and participation yields diminishing returns, hope becomes the only viable psychological response.

Policymaking is largely top-down, insulated from ground-level signals, and errors are rarely acknowledged or corrected unless a full-blown crisis forces change. As a result, individual understanding and rational critique fail to translate into better outcomes.

When status quo becomes persistently dysfunctional, hope stops being a motivator and turns into a survival mechanism. Under normal conditions, hope alone is insufficient, successful policy requires analysis, feedback, and, above all, self-correction. In India feedback loop is structurally broken.

It isn't limited to just Taiwan. Sooner they will extend their claim to senkaku and islands in south China Sea. They will use this claim elsewhere and so will everyone else who can get away with it. A common set of rules that everyone atleast pretended to follow is better than no rules at all.

They are very explicitly making this argument now which can be both used as a justification for current situation in Ukraine and for future activities in East Asia and south China Sea

It is going to get very bad. Their NPA problem is far worse than ours, the coming govt will have an active fight against islamists, their export markets are going towards protectionism and climate change impact will be severe. I wouldn’t wanna be anywhere near that country right now.

I am not entirely sure. We follow almost the same people. Right before deleting, i saw a picture of a gal who was fighting cancer, she had lost her hair and someone below her post asked grok to put her in a bikini.

The movie obviously has to be patriotic so there will be a plot twist where Top ji essentially allowed himself to get kidnapped to act as an spy within China. When Akshay rescues, Top ji decides it is time to live and both of them single handedly defeat 10k pla soldiers.

In response the only thing we can do is ban a few companies, rename a few roads, make a movie where Akshay Kumar saves and brings back Top ji and we will send parliamentary delegation to world capitals to highlight how we have been wronged.

What do you do if you are Latvia. Putin could just kidnap your politicians without formally declaring war. What does it mean for Taiwan. Everyone is freaking out. The rules and norms we thought would always be around have been thrown out by the very people who established them.

I don't think Maduro ever entertained this possibility of a direct attack. Venezuela is majority hills and jungles. It shouldn't have been this easy to kidnap him.

Why aren't small countries completely helpless when it has been established that you can use shaky pretext to attack a sovereign country and kidnap its leaders and families.
