Fellow DS2 defender, but I'd say DS1 is ~70% good. Everything up to Ornstein/Smough is honestly a masterpiece, Seath's library and Nito's pit are both pretty interesting areas, Old Londo is meh, Lost Izalith is complete ass, and the ending is pretty iconic. Plus the DLC slaps.

Yeah, WWE has gotten to the point where, if you are a top talent and could absolutely get an AEW contract as soon as you left WWE, and choose to stay at the rapist company, I don't like you anymore. I'm talking Sami, KO, Balor etc...

I'm very aware of that, my argument was that the common excuse that they're technically "independent contractors" isn't actually a good reason for them to not be unionized, because their job is incredibly similar to stunt performers, who are unionised.

I think she was going to be, but with Buddy injured it left her in a bit of a weird spot, so they pivoted to this. Although I'd love for the Hounds to join up with the triangle, not enough mixed gender factions IMO and I don't think there's ever been a mixed faction with majority women.

Also the "independent contractor" thing is a bullshit excuse. Wrestlers work in an extremely similar way to regular actors. They're contracted to perform, oftentimes for multiple years in a row, and again, actors been unionised for decades.

Pro wrestling isn't and has never been an actual sport, and comparing it to them is just stupid. Pro wrestlers have more in common with stunt actors than they do with any sports player, and stunt actors have literally been unionised for decades.

Yeah, even ignoring all the evil he did in his personal life, the dude was willing to do anything to remain in the spotlight, from whistleblowing on the suggestion of a union, to pretty much killing multiple wrestling companies. His legacy will forever be remembered, in the worst way possible.

Honestly I just feel bad for his daughter. Hulk was by all accounts a dogshit father and she still tried to warn him about his health, and to nobody's surprise, he didn't listen.
He could've died the single most beloved wrestler ever, but he pissed his legacy down the drain at every opportunity.
