Now I'm 150% sure that The Last of Us 3, if it ever happens, will just be Part 1, but make it a mom game with an older Ellie and someone new as her kid. That would actually be great.

By cutting Halo's prox chat out of Destiny, all they did was dehumanize everyone, enable hate for hateful people, and then close them in their box. A toxic kid or an adult in Halo eventually "grew up" by seeing and talking with humans on the other side of their actions.

It is such a pleasure to hear about Bungie's misfortunes. Their absolutely buck wild insane stance on proximity chat, for example: how finally they had reverse it and actually add prox chat. Imagine that. Imagine the pain of people who kept Destiny under their yoke.

Love Terminator 2D. I just love games where you see devs spent most of their time battling gameplay problems and finding the best-feeling solution for every second, instead of battling tech problems. It feels like a 90s Japanese arcade game: cram as much fun as possible into every microsecond.

Digital Foundry has become elitist and stupid to the point of being braindead, and they are the main voice on tech in games. Their recent take: "Why don't games use frame gen on consoles? The tech is there, more games should use it!" Dude, we've had motion interpolation on our TVs since 2010.

That Kirby Air Riders game sure does look cool af. And coming out so soon after that awesome Bonanza game, for someone used to Sony under that corrupt EU CEO, it's so refreshing to see a gaming platform with cool games coming out frequently. If I had the money, I would have bought a Switch 2 already

I think RDR2 is the most immersive game I've played, it genuinely feels like going out in nature after the play session. I can't believe that I'm saying this, but the fact that everything is animated and slow actually adds to the immersion, and it would not be the same game without these things.

I might cared slightly about new PvP games like BF and Arc if they didn't have crossplay with PC enabled by default. I'm not going to pay money to play against the worst cheaters imaginable and constantly be at a disadvantage with my input method and framerate. Pay to play a rigged game, no thanks.

Lumines Arise is amazing, love it. I thought it would have HDR but it's SDR only, but that's okay. I'm just curious why they decided to do that, especially considering that Tetris Effect had, I think, pretty good HDR support.

Lumines Arise has come out and I still haven't tried it yet because of my honestly pretty depressive mood as of late. Oh, how I wish I could get out of this rut. I know it was triggered by the summer heat starting.

I finished House of the Dragon and now I'm so fucking sad. I hate finishing something captivating like this, it always makes me sad to let go of the world. Oh, I'm so sad. It was so good though. Maybe I should start reading the books.
