One of the perks of my ‘day’ job as a conductor is that I get to stand next to fantastic musicians as they do their thing. One such is Anna Hashimoto, the soloist in this concert on Saturday. It showcases some of the best in American music. Do (if geographically convenient) come. www.brentso.org.uk
