I have officially returned to my pastime of making a cup of tea and then getting so distracted writing that I forget to drink it. Oops.

I think we need to bring back heckling facists

*me, lying facedown on the bed, yelling into the mattress:

I love it when I’m reading a story and I’m like wow this is really good I can’t wait to read the rest. and then it stops halfway. because it’s my story and I never finished writing it.

Never have I so aggressively been the target market for something since the Daphne Press editions of Sabriel, Lirael, and Abhorsen.

Probably a dumb question, but how do authors go about coming up with their pen names? I realize the answer is probably “come up with something that sounds good and make sure no one else in your space is using it” but that is not emotionally satisfying to me.

I literally have not wanted to write at all since sometime in 2019 but the urge and inspiration are creeping back in and it feels really good 🥹

Literally so excited for these to come out purely so I can make other people in my life read them without handing out my beautiful Illumicrate editions 🥹
