Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope her treatment goes well and will keep you both in my thoughts. 💚💜

Oh, this is a beautiful view! I miss seeing these pretty pastels in the sky and water. It looks quite cold, is it winter?

This is a great view with a lot going on, love all the verticals and the contrast with the vines! 🍁🍂

What a beautiful pattern! This would look great on a notebook or journal. Love the light and dark and warm color combo.

That makes sense! The vertical, the horizontal layering, and colors, make for a lot of visual interest and the eye keeps moving despite the simplicity.

A lonely spotlight needs company... Great shot!

This is such an awesome idea!

What an interesting picture and title too! Some light escapes out into the darkness where the observer is standing, outsider... 🚪🔑 Got me thinking about the beautiful and very sad fairytale "The Little Girl with the Matchsticks" by Hans Christian Andersen...

That's a great idea! 🦬🪄✨

Wow, well thank you, it all makes sense now! Starting with the wardrobe, then the light and the snow - and the adventure can begin... ✨❄️😮

Nice contrast dark - light! Will I get to Narnia if I wait by this light this winter?

Such interesting starbursts right in the center! Nice grayscale from dark to light! ⭐

Ah, this is beautiful, magical, and the title too. It's like I want to stop and think a little extra when I see it. Great definition of the moon too 🤩

Pancakes are good, but Swedish thin crispy waffles with whipped cream and jam are really tasty!

That would be cool! 🧚‍♀️ Or a dragon!

Congrats Maxine! 🥚

This is so interesting! I immediately thought it would drag us down, swallowing the entire earth in some kind of spatial black hole inversion; you're thinking about what might come up from it...
October 4, 2025 at 4:41 PM
Ooh, here it is, such a gorgeous shot! Love the contrast between the warm and cooler colors, and all the brown/golden hues! 😍
October 4, 2025 at 12:28 PM
Awesome, what a great idea for a painting!

I really like those layers, and the details in the landscape that appear as one looks closer!

Also, how are you doing in the storm?
October 3, 2025 at 11:08 PM
This IS beautiful! Love the colors - and perspective, just like when I was lying on the lawn as a kid! Feels like one deep breath! 🙏

@pfrazee.com at Bluesky just posted about that!

That's a popular ink! I have not tried it but great that it's fast drying. Sounds like a good combo with Canson. Happy painting! 🎨🖋️
