Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) Mortality Varies Across US Asian Groups

CVD mortality rates are highest in Filipino & Indian, lowest in Chinese & Korean. Aggregating Asian groups masks important heterogeneity.

Maternal asthma in pregnancy can be associated with later puberty in sons

Boys born to mothers w/ asthma had slightly later pubertal development. No associations were observed among daughters, & findings were not explained by either birth weight or childhood asthma.
