One of my projects was to help create a roadmap for monitoring and evaluating distance education at the start of the pandemic. This work was as important for the US education system as it was for educators abroad.

Like many key institutions USAID is in imminent danger. As a development education professional I have worked on a number of USAID projects. The work doesn’t just help communities in the rest of the world, it is also salient at home.
