Then use a “scant” 1/4” and that will solve your problem. Good luck! Love your work btw.

How are you pressing your seams? Open or to the side? Sometimes those two or three thread widths can make all the difference. That’s why most patterns use a scant 1/4”. The scant takes into account the fabric fold when you press.

Here’s my big question…what if they find that autism is exacerbated by exposure to PFAS or plastics or some other big corporate MAGA donor’s product? Are they really going to do anything about it? Doubt it!

And THIS, my Friends, is why we need to teach civics and economics in school….smh.

The Halloween one I did in Glide Military Gold and the moody one in a dark green, almost black. I can’t tell you the color bc it had no label.

I don’t know of any patterns but I do have a great idea for the long arm portion…this design from Urban Elementz is stunning! I e used it on a Halloween quilt and on a dark moody one. Love it.

Monte & I swam 100 mi last year. One of the best things I’ve ever done for myself! Little gifts every 25 mi made it a lot easier. Just bought my 100 mi pressie…a stand up paddle board. On to the next adventure!!! Good luck!

As I Lay Dying by Faulkner. When everyone is crazy, sanity seems like lunacy. Also Through The Looking Glass by Carroll. Technically a children’s book but great lessons to be learned. “You used to be much more…muchier. You’ve lost your Muchness.” Something we all need to be reminded of.

Donated yesterday to KMUW and Smokey Hills PBS. We need public TV and radio stations.

He’s dismantled USAID to “put ‘Merica first” so if he’s gonna do that then WHY for the love of all that is good did he NOT order it sent to food banks, homeless shelters & fire /flood victims?! WHY?? Why let it sit there and ROT?? Does he know or care how much time, $ and work it took to grow? 😡

The Arbornaut by Meg Lowman Reading it now and it’s delightful so far. Nonfiction book written by the woman who basically discovered the ecosystem of the tree canopy.

I REALLY question if these people even understand how sick and desperate one has to be to get Medicaid. Cancer, stroke, heart failure, kidney failure etc. are NOT diseases that lend themselves to hard physical labor. I wonder if SHE could do the work even 1 day healthy???

That’s assuming we even get access to the data. 🙈🙉🙊

How much of that is due to school being out and every high schooler around working at Mickey D’s, DQ, camp counselors? There are over 17 million high school students in the US, if only 1/3 of them look for jobs that’s still 5 million. Bound to make a dent in the employment numbers.

Yes I was lucky in having a living donor but those years leading up to it were unmitigated HELL!! If you haven’t lived it, you just cannot understand it. And I mean that for both the sick person AND their caretaker. YOU are a ROCK STAR!!! I never would have survived it without my hubs. Hang tough❤️

Most times I walked into dialysis and left in a wheelchair. It’s awful, tortuous but necessary to live. I was unable to function, much less work because your body is so full of toxins your brain doesn’t work right. It’s like running a marathon every other day. ❤️ to you both. All the best to you!!
