#GoodTrouble Lives On in Gaston County, NC, where about 75 people gathered at the foot of a Confederate monument to honor John Lewis and other civil rights trailblazers. Great energy, great connections and great determination to fight for justice and decency in a deep red county.

Bishop Mariann Budde set an incredible example of compassionate courage this week. Turns out she’s written a book on the topic. I asked my local bookstore to get me a copy and they said it’ll take a couple weeks because of overwhelming demand. I’ll wait! Love the idea of being part of this crowd.
