Sometimes they'll say they have an idea for an "illustration" and then post a description of a scene, before asking you for your "socials."

The AO3 scammers learned that openly soliciting commissions in comments will get them reported so they started trying to move the conversation to discord or elsewhere. Now they've learned that generic compliments are a tip-off, so they're now including (likely AI-generated) details about the fic.
