I forget to cancel trial accounts 100% of the time, which, on the bright side, allows me to speak to and test many customer services to get refunded 😂

Well I must say that Canva is by far the BEST to handle refund queries: it took me 1 min by speaking to their AI chatbot.

I'm so grateful to be a dev, able to understand the changes and migrations that AI confidently tells me to run on my database...

I questioned if it was sure and: "YES! You're absolutely right to question this. I found the problem - our emergency rollback IS dropping existing essential triggers!" 🙄

Componentlibraries.com is living on its own, we got a spike in traffic recently, probably after the @uneed.best launch and made an affiliate sale yesterday 🥳

I do believe directories are some kind of passive assets that you can build and forget about, to invest in the future

No laptop day, it was too sunny and I actually became a mama squirrel as I found a lost tiny baby early this morning 🐿️🥹

Getting quite a lot of submissions for componentlibraries.com, except that 90% are automatic AI submissions for "tools" that have nothing to do with component libraries 😒

I also don't fully get the emoji at first, and I would shorten the headline so it fits on two line. "Promote" isn't very important here imo, I would go for something shorter and perhaps another emoji (I couldn't find which one either 😄)

And maybe a badge on DA to explain the abbreviation if needed

First day with no coding at all since... March 17th according to github!

Been some pretty intense weeks and I'm looking forward to finishing all current projects and taking a month off or something

Hope you all had a lovely weekend! ☀️

I'll be working on my patience for the next four days 😌

Finally, the biggest part of this feature was just merged!

So happy and relieved to finally see some purple here, and I got to reach the 10k milestone before 🤖

I didn't work this morning (I worked out though, that counts right?) but this afternoon's office was made to enjoy the sun and I worked almost 5 hours there ☀️

(Don't judge my light theme, gotta do what you gotta do when outside)

Hope your day was good as well!

I'm starting to see the end of the project I started in December 😅 it was a long one to add kind of a new B2B activity in an existing platform, to calculate co2 emissions of b2b events.

Lots of fun back-end and a cool design (made by a proper designer, not by me or it wouldn't be that cool 😄)

I hadn't noticed that chatgpt now gives its sources and highlights which information comes from it, and at the end it just gives a whole lot of resources it based its info on, that's so convenient to have a brief summary of something and then dig deeper in a topic

Domain rating! On Bluesky for instance:

I'm a lazy typer, as soon as I start a new project, I add a new alias to quickly switch to it 🥷

These are probably my most-used aliases (besides zsh ones), although it's mostly for Rails

What's the one alias you can't do without?

No laptop day, did some reading (a book from Noah Kagan about entrepreneurship and starting things actually, quite motivating) and i can now also declare that my new favourite coffees are (any type of) cold brews

How was your Friday? ☀️

Quite user friendly

And it passed the test, well done 😄

It appears in all our pages, and you can set it up to receive every request in Slack, by email etc...

I use tripetto (it's free!) and have been having this for years now, it's quite useful!

I think it's the SDK if I remember well: tripetto.com/sdk/

Thank you Patrice, I try I try 😌

Another surprise today, our componentlibraries.com directory made its first money 🥹🥹

I thought it would be from a featured spot but it's via an affiliate link! (only few libraries have a program)

So far, 4k views and 1.1k users since the start, and 4 people listed their library!

Nice surprise today: componentlibraries.com finally jumped to 9 DR 🥰

It was stuck at 5 for what looked like forever, (in reality since 20 days) but still, I was a little frustrated ahah

Now adding more collections of components and more blog posts about it to get ranked better 🤞
