Here's hoping comma abuse is not an inherited trait!

I met Stephen Donaldson at Seattle WorldCon this summer, and told him he'd inspired me, just as Tolkien had inspired him. His response: what have I wrought?

My answer: just add more commas! Takes away all the fretting. Plus, who doesn't love commas?

Whew - the photo does capture the crazy conditions! Regarding the Sunday race, thought you might be referring to the Queen Lili'uokalani Race this coming weekend in Kona. Napili has some teams going - it's all they can talk about here!

Check out Amazon: just type in "Sanctuary Moon T-shirt" and a bunch of them pop up. I got the one with the blue oval in the center - it's a good one. While I'd love to avoid Amazon, it's one of the few companies that ship to Hawaii - so maybe you'd have other ordering options!
