It’s a start. Fed Govt could use its fiscal capacity to forgive all student debt and fully subsidise higher education. Fed govt deficit does not affect how much govt can spend in the future. They can’t run out of the dollars. They could run out of teaching staff etc

Superannuation is one of those unhealthy dynamics with unintended consequences… as mentioned in article:

Looking at this thru the lens that money is a public utility and credit is a powerful tool that can be used for good or evil, and fed govt has the power to use the first and contain the second

I’ve always thought that privatising and monetising the micromanagement of poor people was one of the most evil, dystopian things I have ever seen.
