We look weak to the world-infighting, no significant opposition to the current presidential crisis, South African waltzes in and given access to our SS, horribly unbalanced budget, weak middle class and so on. I’m concerned that we are all but waving a flag and asking to be invaded or bombed or….?

I don’t understand how random appointees accessing Social Security files isn’t a HIPAA violation. When you apply for Social Security Disability, you submit all sorts of medical information. You go to the doctors for evaluation regarding every aspect of your situation. Where are our protections?

I understand that folks have different educational backgrounds. But, isn’t civics, USHistory 1&2, part of most educational experiences in the US? I’m seeing so many people online that don’t see fascism or even an oligarchy developing in our government. It’s terrifying to me.
