Also nnlike bees, hornets do not lose their stinger, allowing them to sting multiple times. Aggression: Workers are highly territorial and will sting if the nest is approached or disturbed. Defense Role: They are the front-line defenders of the nest and the most likely to sting humans or animals.

Not what we need as hornets do not typically damage homes compared to indoor pests like rats and mice, but large nests still pose a risk. They can scrape off wood from your home to build their nests, which can be detected by spotting a nest or the hornets themselves.
