I am conflicted since I am a big fan of their work. The uses described seem somewhat reasonable, but I do wish their didn’t use it in the first place.

As far as I can tell they’re just using Machine learning models to help automate some tasks, like adjusting animations to fit on different species or add dynamic lighting. Gen AI isn’t used here. Larian have generally been pretty upfront and supportive with the community and creatives in general.
