Everyone should have access. Some people with mobility challenges need motorized access... but those motors don't have to be in private cars, taxis/Ubers or buses. Could be micromobility like e-bikes, e-trikes, mobility scooters, e-scooters, golf carts, or wheelchairs.

The headline is bad here. Some neighbors are whining about parking, but I think Cupertino residents in general support the project if they know about it.

I see the problem: you need some motorized vehicle to deposit you less than a block from your destination, because of your long COVID. But on the other hand, school streets and other streets with no buses or private cars allowed are making it safer for the majority.

Are you seriously saying that the number of people getting traffic tickets at those locations will be the same over time? If not, if people slow down in response to the tickets like they do everywhere else, then it's not just revenue, it's dangerous drivers slowing down.

In California, along with many other states, the term 'electric bike' is defined in the vehicle code as having a motor equal to or lower than 750 watts and having a maximum speed of 20-28 mph (depending on the class).

This bike exceeds both the power and maximum speed, making it an unlicensed moped

Most drivers aren't stupid enough to keep speeding once they start getting tickets. And the ones that are? They should pay big fines and I have no problem whatsoever with that.

Come on you two, why not both? It takes a while to redesign a road, but we can put up speed cameras right now and charge large fines to scofflaws. And speed cameras slow drivers down, we know that.

As everyone knows, finding the baby's passport is just what you do when you're rushing them to the hospital because they can't breathe.

The hospital's job: Check the skin color. White babies, do everything, brown or black babies, chuck them out.

Cross laminated timber knowers, why doesn't California have its own factories for CLT? I just checked out the construction at 330 Distel, Los Altos CA, and a super explained the CLT panels will be made in Spokane, then shipped to Alabama for more construction. Suboptimal. @nickhasthoughts.com
