A bold claim, because I’ve lived with many annoying cats, BUT this might be the most annoying cat I’ve ever met. However, I’m willing to overlook that (most of the time) because he and my kid adore each other.

Yeah! Tiny, hard little blisters that never pop. And then my skin peels and it looks awful. I also think it could be a type of psoriasis. It’s definitely stress-related for me

Waiting for a musical about the other, OTHER Hamilton: Lady Emma, a savvy/slutty 18th century actress who married into nobility (she was 26, he was 60), then became thee Lord Nelson’s mistress. She came to a somewhat sticky end (poverty, laudanum, etc). A fascinating woman who deserved better.

Oh!!! I have the stress eczema too! On my hands? It sucks, it’s a weird cycle of this rash that turns into my hands peeling. It looks so gross! Shouldn’t be allowed

I feel like I’m right there with you. Things are generally bad and seem to be getting worse and I don’t know what the solution is. But I’m also cognizant of the fact that they could be SO much worse. I don’t know.

On a totally unrelated note but something that would cheer me up: are you cooking anything interesting lately? I miss your cooking posts! I remember you were doing some interesting sous vide stuff (like, ten years ago, I realize as I type this out)

Oof yeah, it’s much more upsetting than I would have imagined it to be (though to be honest it’s not something I’ve thought about a lot). It really adds to my feeling of not being in control of anything in my life.

I know eventually this situation will be resolved, my hair will grow back, and things will feel somewhat normal. I feel bad complaining when there are genuinely horrible things happening in the world. I’m sure people read my posts and are like “wow, I wish I had those comparably pleasant problems”.
