Thank you to the nurses who made my mum's birthday a little brighter. She's in hospital and they all sang "happy birthday" to her and decorated her bed. Small acts of kindness mean so much. ❤️

Needed an ambulance for my 80yo mum tonight. Told there was up to a 10 hour wait for an ambulance.

Thankfully only 5 hour wait! But that's still too long for a scared, really ill elderly person who's feeling beyond vulnerable.

Definitely a chilly night, I'm pinned under a blanket by my two ginger snugglers. It's lovely until I need the loo 🫢

To anyone who has elderly relatives/mobility issues, can I recommend a rechargeable hot water bottle. Safer, no trying to fill bottles with hot water from a kettle, wrestling with stoppers, etc. They stay warm much longer then a wheatbag too.

Worthwhile during the cold weather.

I have had a good/bad/happy and sad week, but this big boy fixed everything. He a chunky floof (huge tummy for winter insulation 😂) and I love him and his brother to bits.

Me - nasty cold/infection - sounding very raspy
Two cats - one with an eye infection, so a trip to the vets to spend £92

Get home and now having to say "get your nose from up his bum" and "leave him alone he doesn't want sniffing"

Wow. I had no idea on BlueSky you can enable external media so you can watch YouTube videos on this platform. It overcomes the problem of only being able to upload 60 seconds of video here. It’s gets better & better
