I’ve been a lacto-ovo pescatarian for 35 years, then cut out dairy and gluten 5 years ago, then fish last October. Then eggs in July. I’m WFPB now. Fortunately, I have a fabulous family-owned Middle Eastern market nearby, and they have great produce at fantastic prices. I’m there every week.

I didn’t see Quigly. But loved Alan in Die Hard (yes, that’s a Christmas movie) and in Robin Hood. Another favorite villain is Heath Ledger as the Joker. *chef kiss*

I looked at the cinema line-up this morning, considered a last-show, solo viewing. This was the only movie that looked moderately interesting. (I didn’t go.) “Fantastic” is a pretty strong rec. What made it rate that high for you? Storyline? Mental/visceral effect? Or just the acting you mentioned?

Love this! Many years ago, I studied Kenpo, Taekwondo, Red Dragon Karate, and Shotokan. I loved sparring and weapons practice more than katas. I never wanted to advance in belt because I felt like I didn’t know enough. I’ve been wanting to try Krav Maga, but wasn’t sure 58 is a good age to start. 🙃
