I am with you on the legal and financial accountability. Taking it beyond campaign promises and into all statements. I see it like hockey fines. If you say something about someone/something that is false and misleading, you will be punished. Being fired needs to be more common place as well.

The lack of accountability in politics is alarming. I’d like to see what more accountability looks like. Any thoughts?

But strategic voting wasn’t necessary in all ridings in order to beat the conservatives. My riding was a sure fire win for the NDP with a very strong Liberal 2nd place. I appreciate all who did vote strategically to stop Pollievre from getting in. Especially in his own riding ☺️

Oooh, yes. Good question. I think one would inform the other. Electoral reform would shake things up enough that the parties would have to finally listen to what the people are looking for.
