ace hardware at 14th/church/market is open, if your fairy light batteries are out.

confirming van ness, civic center, and powell stations are bypassed. all good at church. trains seem to be running ~12 mins apart.

@timmiller.bsky.social how did you keep a straight and kind face?! i had to turn it off. what i did see was 90% “yes, i wrote it”. don’t do a press tour if that’s all you’re going to say! we need to stop platforming this woman when smart qualified professionals can’t find work in this dismal market.

so today i thought, i wish i understood why, and now i do. doesn’t make me feel better on days when bunching isn’t present, but at least i can assume a circumstance that is hard for me to see instead of just feeling frustrated.

three weeks ago i ran for it, and slipped on the temporary platform on church - went down hard and have had to seek medical care. foggy morning, it happens. but i ran because ive been left so many times at that stop. im already commuting an hour, in-city.

for context this was the 22, a line where i see a lot of bunching (am & pm). i have many times watched the doors close from an arms length away, and then waited the full 11 minutes for the next one, which was the scenario today. prediction told me i’d need to cab, and i did.

this is so so helpful to understand. i am so appreciative of our operators, a transit user, lover, and advocate. thank you for taking the time to explain. i wish every rider had this info.
