I’m a deep believer in right book, right person, right time. 🥰 Some books never have a right time with a reader. I’ve picked up books only to set them down and find and love them years later. ♥️

I’m the same! It’s takes a lot for me to set a book down. 🤣 But it’s been known to happen now and again.

Sure, absolutely. ☺️ If the book is poorly written in a way I can’t stand.

If the author injects themself in the narrative via the characters.

If the author clearly didn’t research a topic in their novel.

It’s a bunch of nitzy stuff I personally find irritating. 😅

I’m really good at follow through. I always finish books (with a 50 page DNF rule that has specific guidelines attached to it), yarn projects, and writing stories before starting a new book/project/story. ☺️
