As a parent of teenagers watching present day events, I shifted gears away from a traditional higher education.

I've always encouraged resilience, critical thinking and self-care over technical skills.

This year they've learned the world is volatile. I feel parenting has never been so intense.

Many of us in healthcare are leaving .. and taking our young families with.

We waited for it to get better and it's just gotten worse.

There's no future for our kids here.

The funny part about counselors are they are also very human ..

My kids tell me I should go to counseling but I have SO MUCH it'd take years.

That, and I'd give some poor counselor 2nd hand trauma.

Maybe someday if this world ever gives us a break. 🙄

Making arrangements to move our family out of this country as it has no future for our kids. ✌️

Add to it all of us families moving out of the country. We're done.

They were both bawling and I was like 😮‍💨.

Did anyone else catch on Fox when Scott Bessent casually mentioned a big payout for any kids born the next three years, starting Jan 1?

He said it, hinting these kids could pick up a "lump sum" when they turned 18.
