Let’s all stop buying cheap disposable clothes, even if the price is tempting. It’s crap for the planet, the workers & for end of life management. Be honest: most of the time we have other options. Yes, durable clothes are more expensive, but last longer so we can buy less. Or buy better stuff used.

Interesting. It sure is gorgeous. Even if it is just art, the gap between what others can dream of (health care for all, high speed rail, solar at scale, safe bike lanes) and the substandard crumbs we have acclimated to here is stunning. Why don’t people in the US demand these life quality upgrades?

How bad does it have to get before R Senators realize standing by this man is not good for their career or their legacy? Clearly it’s not good for the country, but that’s not enough to move them. At some point, some of them have got to stand up and say “this is wrong” and stop enabling him. When??

Our country is so messed up that “US law prohibits giving healthcare to illegal immigrants” is an any way reassuring rather than cause for alarm. Access to health care should be available to everyone who needs it. What are we, sociopaths?

I know we are supposed to have empathy for Trump voters, not judge them, and welcome them in once they see the danger we face, but my god, I am filled with rage that anyone supports this absolutely monstrous act. How can these men sleep at night, face their own children? This is devastating.

Today’s example of how Better-Things-Are-Possible, check out how Finland reduced the number of homeless people, with 4 out of 5 back into a stable life. This is cheaper and kinder than accepting homelessness. (And no need for lethal injections as a Fox News recently suggested!)
