They float, but when they’re young they can get water logged, which is why the water is only their feet deep & they’re in there supervised the whole time.

Their feet can touch the bottom of the tub.
It’s crucial that baby ducks have a few mins in water every day so their leg muscles develop properly & their oil glands get activated.
It would be cruel *not* to give them this time.

There really easy. I have about the same amount of land, they’re excellent mowers, very friendly.
They need grooming & hooves picked out weekly, daily feeding, feet trimmed every 3-4 months. That’s pretty much it.
