Working on my last project before Christmas.🎄There are a few 😺"risks"😺 involved with having the catnip tub out of the drawer for an extended period of time. They are currently zonked out for their 17th beauty nap of the day, and for that time being, not protesting against the closed door.😆🧶 #knitsky

The one positive thing about my poor photography skills is that it's easy to see that my pics aren't "AI enhanced". What you see is exactly how I made it. What I made this time is a newborn sized matinee coat, beanie and booties with a knitted lace pattern and beary cute buttons.🙂🧶 #knitted #knitsky

This week I'm having some rest & recover time, tucked into my corner with a Star Trek audiobook and a few unfinished knitting projects. Next week I'll be taking pics of some cute knitted babywear that I've made.🙂

Yesterday my mam went to be reunited with my dad and sister. Mam was 93 years old. She had a long, good life and after spending time with everyone she loved, she left us sleeping peacefully. My mind finds comfort in knowing these things, my heart knows that nothing will ever be the same without her.

The last thing I put in the package that's going to my mum is this cute little comfort blanket. I made it a while ago but it was still here and I figured that in a large care home there surely must be someone with a (great)grandchild that would like to have it.🙂🧶 #knitting #knitsky

Believe it or not, both of these photos show the exact same pair of dolls.😮 These are topsy turvy dolls. Turn them upside down, fold over the skirt, and it becomes a different doll to play with. The dolls are around 22cm tall and were knitted using a pattern by Jean Greenhowe.🙂🧶 #knitting #knitsky

Look what has arrived today!🤩 At Wool Warehouse -on half price sale- I saw this lovely Glow-In-The-Dark aran weight yarn, and I just had to have it. I'm really looking forward to having fun with it and there should be some nice glowy projects in my future.😀🧶 #knitsky #yarn #yarnaddict

The last of my yarn event purchases. A yarn spinner, yarn bowl and a tray bake container.🤔 The latter is an odd knitting tool, but it I saw a handy lap tray for sewing up my baby knits, with a cover to protect my WIP when I have to put it down.🙂 Follow me for more crazy ideas that just might work.😂🧶
