Once upon a time I practiced law.
I'd be better prepared if the world provided me with a proper syllabus instead of an unsorted mass of raw data & misinformation ;).

If there's any justice in this world, someday he's going to slip on one of his marble floors and break a hip.

Ah - unnecessary expense! Waste of taxpayer $, and, Trump being Trump, he'll probably find some corruption opportunities as well.

Uncomfortable. Terrible for the acoustics. Won't hold up well (chips, stains, etc., apparently). And - a silicosis risk for people working with the stone. What else might I be missing?

This was such a good discussion - thank you both!

Also Albertsons (so potentially also Safeway, Lucky, Vons, & more) & Kroger (Ralphs, Fred Meyer, Food 4 Less, etc). Seems like they should all get fines large enough to deter repeats, not just warning letters.

He wants everything to be as it was when he was 25 or so, so he doesn‘t have to have any new thoughts. Bring back the USSR (better than all these inconvenient independent countries), bring back stagflation, bring back US-backed Latin American coups, bring back nuclear testing (photo op!), etc.

How menacing. Democracy might break out.

To be fair, if Biden had loudly violated his oath of office six times a day, mere inflation might not have been the top story then, either.

I stayed at one in Atlanta on a government per diem years ago (as a clerk to a 2d Cir senior judge sitting with the 11th Cir.). I think they had a government rate or something. It was probably less than I paid for a budget room for sittings in NYC, & definitely well within the per diem.

It’s less an ultimatum than a 50-day green light to bomb as much as they like.
