Quasi re-wilder of apartment balconies with obligingly self seeding nasturtiums. Retired PICU RN.
Yes. Though I find their unpermitted attempts to rename buildings or departments trivial compared to the other offenses against the ideals, and the practical function of our country.

Oh really? How about Department of war? Secretary of war?

I have now and have had for a while the strong impression at 47 is not good at math. In particular, it is apparent he does not know what percent means. And he is unaware that most other people do know.

Really. What was your first clue?

A thoughtful precaution. But I suspect the entire place will require exorcism with along & sandblasting the exterior and lighting incense for the interior.

Yes. We have a powerfully vindictive, angry old man at the head of our country. Judicious maneuvers to survive, to minimize harm, to organize & accomplish changes to restore democracy and improve justice, include tolerating a name change that might well save the building. We can change it back.

Not ridiculous. Just look at The East Wing. Oh wait you can’t. it’s not there. If the renaming saves the physical structure, it’s a small price.

Begin by being grateful he didn’t have the building torn down. For that alone, I would support renaming it. Furthermore, this too shall pass. 47 is powerful but transient. The Center is capable of recreation and reconstitution in the future.

Marvelous. Thanks for sharing.

Yes. A worthy tool in the right application. Respect it in that, for that.

Not a birder, but
cardinals nested for years in the cedars along our driveway. I never noticed a bald one. Mostly the male
was notable for persistently attacking his own reflection in the house windows whenever the sunlight was right. That, and more successfully, menacing our cats.

I expect he thinks God will directly notify those worth saving. Alternately, he might think God is still remorseful about last time and won’t do it again. Plus: rapture?

Yes. Appreciate them when they do something you appreciate. No simple label is brroadly useful. People are complex. We can and should let them know when we appreciate their judgment, decision and actions.

I’m sorry for you and all of Berlin that that is happening. Here’s hoping that whatever is causing outage will be resolved soon, effectively and permanently.

And they regrow by themselves. So when they’re over, they’re just getting ready to come back.

Instant chuckle. ‘A gentle tap on the shoulder’. such a considerate way draw attention to a full blown conflagration. Thank you for adding humor to my day.

Just fine them into poverty. Convict them as appropriate according to evidence. Imprison them according to the law for their crimes. Guillotine unnecessary.

Inspiring, but the only fungi to suss out in Rochester this time of year are inside. Behind the fridge or minutely intrinsicated with the patchy grout in the guest bathroom you’ve been wanting to remodel. Birds which have personal furnaces, so are more resilient, do remain to reward your walk.

Cuban has enough billions and enough mind to be able to care for and about his billions and have other interests.

Judicious foresight might easily suggest there —-too much risk of accidentally dummymandering. Seven birds in hand might be the most that can be had. Why risk losing some by trying to get more.

Brilliant! Cute. Tasty. And done.

It is not necessary that everything Rubio does be wrong. Nor necessary that you not do or like anything he does or likes. Principled opposition to that which he gets wrong is enough. —oh. Wait a minute he favors TNR to avoid excessive diversity. 😞
