It's not even about trying to change any individual positions on things.

The problem is so deeply systemic, and that system feels so far away, unreachable.

We didn't even learn about how it actually works in high school!!

Where to even start?

What interests me is proportional representation. Getting rid of the toxic two-party and winner-takes-all and campaign finance systems which have generated this situation.

Old-fashioned letters to our representatives and senators? Gathering friends to come up with ideas? What does a nation and community do when we don't even know where to start?

What common linguistic, interpersonal, and psychological TECHNIQUES do the following use?

I am NOT looking for insults, hatred, or dismissal.

--Perpetrators of domestic violence

--White nationalist narratives

--Those with sociopathic personality disorder

We need to articulate and educate.

I am concerned that those of us working towards a humanistic, civil-rights-based vision of democracy and freedom do not sufficiently understand the psychology & techniques of those who believe they are entitled to power.
